Somatic Resonance
A trauma-informed method aligning the nervous system through sound, intention, and regulation.

Somatic Resonance refers to a state in which the body, nervous system, emotions, and intention are in alignment. Rather than forcing outcomes or “raising vibration,” this method emphasizes safety, regulation, and presence as the conditions that allow change to occur naturally.
Core Principles of Somatic Resonance
How This Method Was Formed
Somatic Resonance was created by Laken Doty through years of clinical training, embodied practice, and immersive experience living and working in South Korea.
The method reflects an integration of Eastern understandings of resonance, stillness, and discipline with Western trauma-informed psychology and ethical care. Rather than replicating a traditional system, Somatic Resonance was developed as a contemporary, integrative approach rooted in lived practice and clinical responsibility.
